The "Richard D. Bigos" Fund
Richard D. Bigos was the Executive Director of the Community Action Committee of Cape Cod & Islands, Inc. (CACCI) for over 20 years. He was a dedicated CAA Director and, in many ways, epitomized the role of the CAA professional as an advocate for low-income people. From his work, he sought only results to benefit others. In the end, however, he kept his eye on the prize - food, clothing, shelter, health care & child care and respect for those who needed it the most.
The Richard D. Bigos Fund was created in honor of his memory and will be used solely to assist the (CACCI) clients in need of emergency dollars.
All donations of $100.00 or more will be acknowledged on a plaque that is displayed in the Richard D. Bigos Community Room.
