If you are uninsured and qualify for a subsidy, or have a qualifying event,
you can apply for health insurance anytime!

Get help from a Certified MA Health Connector Navigator who will:

  • Assist you in completing an online application
  • Help you to choose a health or dental plan; Find which hospitals or doctors are in different provider network plans
  • If you are part of the MassHealth Accountable Care Organization transition that started on March 1 and have questions or need assistance transitioning in order to not have any health care interruptions.
  • If your spouse/partner turns 65 and is applying for Medicare and you will be without health insurance and you are not yet 65, explore Health Connector/MassHealth options.

If you are newly eligible for ConnectorCare Plans (subsidized public health insurance), or qualify for a Special Enrollment Period with a Qualifying Life Event, you can enroll at any time within 60 days of the event.
You can apply and enroll in MassHealth at any time during the year.

Don’t file your taxes until you have all your 2017 Health Insurance tax forms!   Health Connector members will receive a 1095-A  MassHealth members will receive a 1095-B If you received state subsides, meaning you received federal advanced premium tax credits, you have a responsibility
to file and reconcile tax credits.
