The U.S. government is no longer imposing the Trump administration's novel interpretation
of the Public Charge rule. This means that many applicants for green cards will
no longer have to tolerate excessive financial disclosures or be punished for receiving
publicly funded benefits for which they qualify.

and want to know how this change will affect your case, please call CACCI's

You may have recently heard the news that the Trump Administration removed some important protections against health care discrimination for transgender individuals, pregnant individuals and individuals who speak languages other than English.
But the good news is - Massachusetts residents still have these protections.
See the recent announcement below from MassHealth about its decision to continue providing important nondiscrimination protections in health care:
"We want to expressly emphasize that these federal changes have not changed MassHealth's commitment to providing all medically necessary MassHealth services to LGBTQ individuals who are MassHealth members, including transgender members. Nor do these federal changes affect our commitment to ensuring LGBTQ members can access MassHealth covered benefits free from unlawful discrimination. We want to reiterate that various other state laws and regulations, as well as MassHealth managed care contracts, continue to prohibit discrimination in health care for the LGBTQ community and require meaningful language access for MassHealth members. Plans and providers must continue with these nondiscrimination requirements."
