Exciting Announcement: New Summer EBT program by DTA!
We are thrilled to share that the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) has launched a new Summer EBT program to support families during the summer months.
This program aims to ensure that children have access to nutritious meals even when school is out. Eligible families will receive benefits to help cover the cost of groceries, ensuring that no child goes hungry this summer.
Key Features of the Summer EBT Program:
Who is Eligible: Students qualify for Summer EBT if they got SNAP, DTA cash benefits, SSI with a relative caregiver, or certain types of MassHealth coverage, foster care AND we were enrolled in a national School Lunch program.
Benefits: Families receive financial support for purchasing groceries.
How to Apply: Students who are not automatically enrolled in Summer EBT can call us today to apply. 508-771-1727 ext. 117 The program period is from June13- September 7, 2024
